Holiday Card Sales to Benefit Equine Research

Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, through the generosity of four leading equine photographers, is offering personalized holiday cards featuring six wintry scene options, with all of the Foundation's profits from sales of the cards dedicated to funding equine research.

The cards feature horse-in-winter scenes by Barbara Livingston, Skip Dickstein, Dell Hancock and Shelly Schmidt.

"We are deeply grateful to the photographers for providing these beautiful images to us for the benefit of equine research," noted Edward L. Bowen, president of Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation. "There is sufficient explanation of the work of the Foundation to inform any recipient of the card that the sender has made a conscious decision to combine his/her holiday greetings with devotion to a wonderful animal."

Each order provides the opportunity for the purchasing individual and/or company to tailor a greeting, which accompanies pre-printed, non-denominational messages such as "Holiday Greetings and Best Wishes for a Wonderful New Year." Up to three lines of customized printing are available on the inside card as well as on the envelope.

Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation is a leading source of private funding for veterinary research to promote the health and soundness of horses of all breeds. In the last two decades, the Foundation has provided more than $11 million to fund 189 projects at 31 universities.
